Since receiving legal recognition on March 28, 2017, through Prefectorial Decision No. 162/G.37/014/VOL/SAAP, we have been dedicated to implementing programs that make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
FAPS-DEV (Foundation for the Advancement of People’s Sustainable Development) was established out of a deep commitment to empower and uplift less privileged communities. Recognizing the challenges of poverty and unemployment, a group of passionate young individuals came together to brainstorm initiatives that would foster self-reliance and sustainable development. Our organization believes in the philosophy of teaching individuals to fish rather than simply providing them with fish.
